Walking Club
What is the Walking Club?
The Paws in the Parks Walking Club meets at various locations on various days, weather permitting, for a leisurely walk and socializing. This is not a training session, and the group is free and open to all That’s My Dog Training graduates. The walk is a great place to continue working with your dog in an environment where everyone respects the basic rules of conduct around dogs. Children are welcome as long as they are aware that they will not be able to approach or pet every dog, and that they must ask permission before they approach any dogs.
How It Works
Simply complete the form below and click submit to be included on the announcement list. Please include the town you live in and two locations you would like the group to meet for a walk.
An email will go out announcing the date and time, location, and directions the week of a scheduled walk. There is no commitment to attend and if the weather is questionable those who still wish to walk may – but there will be no formal announcement cancelling the walk. Locations will be selected around the areas of those signed up for the Walking Club. We will attempt to select locations where there are not lots of off-leash dogs and owners who have no control over them – whenever possible.
